AllFusion Change Manager Enterprise Workbench r7 offers an Enterprise Reporter feature called "Report Builder". The Report Builder feature provides a wizard to guide the user in defining a report. The user can define such things as Report Style, Layout, Type and data content. The user is able to view the report and make changes prior to finalizing. The report can be easily added to the Enterprise Reports page which enables the report to be run when desired.

Building an Enterprise Package Report using Report Builder Wizard

The user can access the Report Builder feature from the Start-> Programs menu-> Computer Associates-> AllFusion-> CM Enterprise Workbench-> Reporting menu. The Report Builder wizard executes when the user selects the Report Builder feature. The Report Wizard executes a Welcome dialog:

The "Welcome to Enterprise Reporter" dialog permits the user to select from six buttons. They include a "Getting Started" button that provides the user with useful information and a "New Report" which executes a wizard. The Wizard guides the user to define Report Type, Fields, Filtering, Sort Order, Style, and Layout. The Wizard final steps provide the user with the options to confirm the Report. The user is able to view the report, create another similar report or Start again.

If the user clicks that they are done, they are able to save the report file in the "CMEW Install directory location/ew/reports/enterprise" location. Saving the report file to that location permits the user to view the report in CM Enterprise Workbench.

The user is prompted to save the report to the Reports directory. Once you save the report, you can run it at any time from the CM Enterprise Workbench Reports page.
