Issue:

Create and Update Jaspersoft Users doesn't create folders when we upgraded to CA PPM 14.2 Patch 8 and CA PPM 14.3 Patch 7. Also the empty folders of users are deleted 

Environment:
CA PPM 14.3 Patch 7 & CA PPM 14.2 Patch 8
Cause:

The functionality of creating folders via the Job was creating huge performance issue as it used to create 4 folders per user.Hence the functionality of user folder creation was taken off from CA PPM 14.3 Patch 7 & CA PPM 14.2 Patch 8. Also if the existing user folders were blank the folders the will also be deleted

Resolution:

If you have a requirement for individual user folder for scheduled reports, please try to group the users to one folder where they can store the reports. In this way you can limit the number of folders.

 

From CA PPM 14.4 & CA PPM 15.1 we don't create individual user folders at all.

Note: Also try to limit the number of folders maximum to 5000 as we see performance degradation after that.
