Commands that are sent via CPF from one system to another are masked by Top Secret and then encrypted by CCI.
You can trace the commands to see that they are encrypted.
If you are using VTAM or XCF, our tracing does not show data packets. But if you are using one of the TCPxxxGW protocols, our tracing does show some of the data being transmitted. This trace is activated by issuing command :
This will result in our tracing being written to the SYSPRINT DD of the CCIxxxGW task.
You will be able to see that there is encryption and that the commands are not in clear text.
