Problem:

'Copy From' Returns Status Report Entries from all Projects Except for the Selected One

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Home > Projects
  2. Select a project
  3. On the Properties Tab, select the > Status Report List sub-page
  4. Select an existing Status Report
  5. From the upper right of the Status Report Properties page, select Copy from the Actions drop down list

Expected Result:  PPM returns only the status report entries from the selected project.

Actual Result: PPM returns all status entries from all projects except the selected project.

Cause:

The 'copy' action is core PPM Functionality, and is working as expected. This provides you with the flexibility to copy instances that are not confined to the current master object instance.

Resolution:

N/A

Workaround:

As a work around for copying previous status reports, you could include the Project Name as part of the filter options to ensure you can select the correct status report. PMO Accelerator does not overwrite views during upgrades, so if the project name filter option is included it will remain after upgrading PMO Accelerator.
