Access to your MICF inquiries as well as MICF output are both driven from your USERID.TABLES dataset, which is defined in MWF;5;0;4 (Data Set Alloc Parameters). To enable yourself and all other MICF users to access their previous complex's MICF libraries you should ensure you have specified the same suffix on this panel as you did for the previous complex. i.e. whatever your current USER tables dataset is named. Also ensure that you have specified the same for the other USER suffixes, such as
BDTFOUT BICFUSER BLOG BMICSLOG BREPORT
DTFINDEX DTFOUT LOG MAFCNTL MICSLOG OUTPUT
PRINT REPORT USER
to enable the OUTPUT to be found (from Reports & graphics if they try to retrieve previous output).
Once you change these names on the panels to confirm to the actual dataset names, when you enter MICF (2;2) you should find your previously defined MICF inquiries listed).
If this is NOT possible (to use the same suffix) then you would need to enter MWF to get all your new datasets allocated as you have defined them on this panel, and once allocated copy from your previous datasets.
I'd already copied the users files to the other image containing the "new" MICS. I made sure they were named correctly before asking the user to log on.
When she went into MICF the enquiries were all there, but failed initially because of log datasets etc. being too small. I asked her to resize all her datasets in option 2;0;6 and they all work OK now.
