Question:

When I was looking at my rep.xml file, I noticed there was a database parameter of DecimalSeperator of ",".  If I change the file to use a period, I notice my queries are still returning the value of the comma in my number as the decimal. How can I change this parameter so my queries will return the correct decimal notation?

Environment:
CA Test Data Manager (TDM)- Datamaker
Answer:

The rep.xml file is only used for Datamaker and its related components to do a connection to the repository database only. It is not used with any source or target database profiles. It is not recommended (or supported) for making changes to the rep.xml file outside of Datamaker unless you are advised from support to do so. If you are having issues with your queries returning the correct decimal notation or other column formatting, you will need to make those changes in your source and/or target profiles which are the profiles that you will use for querying, matching and publishing your data in TDM.
