Description:

The CONSOLIDATED CHECKLIST submission may fail with a S0C1 abend, NO ACTIVE MODULE, when running SAS 9 and prior to application of BAS7611 from R12.5.

Solution:

Review the JCL that was created for the job and look at STEP PSP010 to see what the value for PARM= is on the EXEC PGM=MACTL statement.

If it has:

// PSP010   EXEC PGM=MACTL,
//       PARM=('SASXAL S=72 SYSPARM=NOCOPY','NODMS'),
//       REGION=4M

Change it to the following:

//PSP010   EXEC PGM=MACTL,
//       PARM=('SAS S=72 SYSPARM=NOCOPY','NODMS'),
//       REGION=4M

You would change from SASXAL to SAS.

Then resubmit the job.

You should check your MWF clist 50;3 specification to make a permanent change from SASXAL to SAS or SASB for the Entry Point for SAS 9.

SAS for z/OS non-bundled configuration.
SASB for z/OS non-LPA bundled configuration.

After application of BAS7611 (R12.5) this JCL is replaced by the MICSDM PROC so the error will no longer occur.
