Configuring Spectrum Integration with ServiceNow to use SSL

Issue:

 

After configuring the Spectrum and ServiceNow integration to use SSL, a restart of the Spectrum Tomcat Service reverts the port back to HTTP.

Environment:
Spectrum 10.2.0ServiceNow: Geneva, Helsinki
Cause:

 

There is a string comparison conflict in the code written for the Spectrum / ServiceNow integration.

Resolution:

 

The Spectrum 10.02.00.PTF_10.2.047 patch is available to prevent this from occurring.

The following is from the Spectrum 10.02.00.PTF_10.2.047 patch release notes:

 

Symptom: Integration Parameters losses the SSL configuration in the Service Desk configuration page.  

Resolution: Integration Parameters in the Service Desk configuration page are saved and restored correctly.

 

Please contact CA Spectrum Support for a copy of the Spectrum 10.02.00.PTF_10.2.047 patch.

 

Additional Information:

 

SPECTRUM 10.02.00 is the prerequisite for installation of this patch.  

This patch needs to be installed on the Spectrum OneClick server.
