Question:

What is the syntax to execute a stored procedure from within GEL Script ?

Answer:
For MSSQL do the following, where "prior" is a parameter.

<sql:update dataSource="${clarityDS}"> Z_AAA_SP "prior" </sql:update>

For Oracle, you would do the following, everything within parentheses are examples of parameters that can be passed to your stored procedure:

<sql:update>call XX.Z_UpdateMessgStatus(${messg_seqno}, ${cntrl_seqno}, 'P', 'CLARITY', '${DBUSER}', to_date('${run_date}','yyyy-mm-dd hh24:mi:ss'))</sql:update>
