Description:

Multidimensional NSQL grid portlet retrieves all rows in resultset before displaying, resulting in OutOfMemory

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Create a multidimensional NSQL query with dates in the 2nd dimension (i.e.: a query that shows a resource and their availability based on daily slice data)

  2. Create a grid portlet based on this query with the resource (primary dimension) on the Y axis. This will result in a resource per row and columns that look like dates

  3. Login on Clarity with an user with rights to all resources and filter in that portlet

Expected Result: Portlet renders quickly and system stays up.

Actual Result: Portlet takes a long time to render and the system fails with an OutOfMemory exception.

Workaround: None.

Solution:

This issue has been documented as CLRT-60327 and fixed in Clarity 13.2.
