When we try to filter the browse lookup fields in the Manage Matrix, Edit Matrix Rows, using the 'Enter' button from the keyboard does not work as expected. It clears out the filter field and returns all results. We were expecting it to act like other pages and apply the criteria to filter and return results for this criteria.
Steps to Reproduce:
Login to the application as an Administrator user
Navigate to Administration, Finance: Manage Matrix
Open an existing Matrix and navigate to Edit Rows tab
Create or Edit a row in the matrix
For any of the lookup attribute columns, click the 'browse' icon to display the lookup popup window
Enter a criteria value into one of the Filter Section fields
Click the computer keyboard 'Enter' button
Expected Result: We expected the 'Enter' button would act like we clicked the application 'Filter' button to apply the criteria and display filtered results
Actual Result: The filter section criteria is cleared out and is not applied to display filtered results ; all results are shown
Caused by CLRT-75439
This issue occurs for any of the lookup attributes configured for the matrix.
Our sustaining team reviewed CLRT-75439 and closed it as they are not planning to make any changes to this area of the product.
Remember to use the application 'Filter' button on the page instead of using the keyboard 'Enter' button.
