Issue:

Timesheet posting is not correcting the task finish date to match the assignment finish date when there is no remaining ETC (Estimate-To-Completion).

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Create a project open for time entry
  2. Create a resource open for time entry
  3. Create time periods for at least two weeks
  4. On the project create a summary task
  5. On the project create a two week task variable duration
  6. Add the resource to the project
  7. Assign the resource to the task with 8 hours ETC
  8. Create a timesheet for week one
  9. Enter 8 hours (actuals) and submit and approve the timesheet
  10. Wait 5 minutes, then run the Post Timesheets job
  11. Launch the Gantt chart for the project
  12. Click on the task
Note: The assignment finish is now the end on the posted timesheet

Expected Results: The task and summary task finish dates to match the assignment finish date.
Actual Results: The task finish date is not changed and is a week later.

Cause:
This issue is caused by CLRT-68926.
Resolution:

This issue is fixed in CA PPM 13.3.

Workaround:
Edit the assignment and add 1 hour ETC, save, then remove the ETC and save.
