Question:
We have a timesheet pending for approval for a resource, however the approver is not able to see the timesheet in PPM.
Answer:
If the resource is inactive you will not be able to see their timesheets.

You will need to activate the resource in order to see and approve the timesheet.

If the resource has a Termination Date, you may need to temporarily remove that as well.

Additional Information:
Reference https://communities.ca.com/thread/6263616  for differences between locked and inactive resources.

If you are viewing the Missing Tme Report and you see an inactive resource, this is because the resource did create a timesheet.

Configure the resource for time entry. The resource is considered set up for time entry if the following conditions are met on the resource: the Open for Time entry field is checked; Track Mode set to PPM (formerly Clarity) or Other; date of hire is blank, before the time period, or within the time period; and date of termination is blank, after the time period, or within the time period. If the resource is not considered open for time entry based on the above criteria, but the resource does have a timesheet for the period in question, the resource will appear on the report.
