Clarity PPM: Timesheets for closed time periods are getting Posted

Even though the time periods were closed, the Post Timesheets job still processed the timesheets.

This is by design.

If  timesheets were completed and approved,  then the time periods closed before the timesheets posted, the Post Timesheets job will process the approved timesheets.



If there is a deadline for users to enter time, managers can use on or more of the following methods to ensure all timesheets are entered in a timely manner.

1. notify a resource via the 'Notify' button or 'Send Reminder' icon
2. use a custom process,
3. Review the Jaspersoft Time reports

When time periods are closed:
1. Timesheets cannot be entered/edited . It will prevent users from entering time
2. TImesheets that are submitted cannot be approved.
3. Timesheets that are approved will be posted.
