Attributes are created for the Investment object. These attributes cannot be added to the investment object views: Incident List Layout, Incident Filter Layout.
Why are there Incident Views in the Investment? The Incident Object is not a sub-object.
Why are the attributes in the "Incident" Layout view different than all other Investment Object Views?
The application is behaving as expected.
It is true that the Incident Object is NOT a sub-object to the Investment Object. The Incident Object behaves differently than a sub-object. Attributes defined on the Investment Object do not carry over to the Incident Object and the Incident cannot reference the Investment Object since the Investment Object is the not parent object.
To use the Incidents feature, Incident Categories are created and associated with non-project investments. This allows the end-user the ability to create incidents.
The Incident List Layout and Incident Filter Layout views appear on the Investment Object to allow configuration on the Non-Project Investment Incidents tab. These views provide information for the data on the Incident records. Add new attributes to the Incident Object. The attributes will then appear in the list of 'Available' attributes.
