Clarity: Portfolio using FTE Capacity Units Efficient Frontier Candidate Scenario Total Score is incorrect when Roles are included in the Scenario Properties

Description:

Configuring a Scenario on a Portfolio, configured to use FTE Capacity Units, to include Roles causes the total score to be incorrect. If you simply add the Roles that have been added to the Portfolio Contents (without overriding the capacity values) the total score shows zero. If you overrive the capacity values, the score is inflated. We expect the Total Score for the list of Candidate Scenarios to match the calculated sum of all the investments listed. This issue is not reproduced when the Portfolio is using Hourly Capacity Units.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Create a Portfolio - Set Capacity Units = FTE

  2. Add investments to the Portfolio Contents

  3. Add Roles to the Portfolio Contents

  4. Create 'Scenario - No Roles' - DO NOT set any Roles or other properties - go directly to Efficient Frontier and Generate Graph

    View the Candidate Scenario Investments - Total Scores are OK

  5. Create 'Scenario - Roles' - Add the Roles that are in the Portfolio - DO NOT change any capacity FTE values

  6. Go to Efficient Frontier and Generate Graph

    View the Candidate Scenario Investments - Total Scores show Zero (0)

  7. In the same 'Scenario - Roles' - Go to Roles page and modify the Capacity FTE Units for some of the Roles and 'Save'

  8. Go to Efficient Frontier and Generate Graph

    View the Candidate Scenario Investments - Total Scores show inflated values

Expected Result: Total Score should equate to the sum of all Candidate Scenario Investments listed.

Actual Result: Total Score is incorrect.
