Clarity: Boolean checkbox created on the baseline object cannot be unchecked.

Problem:

Boolean checkbox created on the baseline object remain checked after un-checking it and hitting the Submit button.
The issue depends on MSSQL database.

 

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Define the Boolean attribute

    1. Go to the Admin tools -> Object -> "baseline" -> Attributes and click the "New" attribute.
    2. Enter requested information (Name = "att_b1", ID= "att_b1", Data Type = "boolean") and click the "Submit" button.
    3. Go to the Admin tools -> Object -> "baseline" -> Views ->Basesline properties [Layout:Edit] - General -> Properties and Layout icon and move the attribute "att_b1" from Available column to the Selected.
    4. Click Submit.

  2. Open the project and define the baseline

    1. Go to the Home ->Project and click the "New" button.
    2. Enter requested information (Name = "project1", ID= "project1") and click the "Save " button.
    3. Go to "ptoject1" -> properties -> Baseline and click the "New" button.
    4. Enter requested information (Revision name = "test1", Revision ID= "test1") and click the "Submit " button.

  3. Open revision "test1", check the checkbox "att_b1" and click the "Submit" button.

  4. Open revision "test1", uncheck the checkbox "att_b1" and click the "Submit" button.

  5. Open revision "test1" and check the status of the attribute "att_b1".

 

Expected Result:  The checkbox "att_b1" should be unchecked.

Actual Result: The checkbox "att_b1" is still checked.

 

Environment:

Applies to all supported PAS environments until CA Clarity version 12.1.3 and also applies to CA Clarity version 13.0.0.

Cause:

Caused by CLRT-50407.

Resolution:

Resolved in CA Clarity 12.1.0.

Workaround:

No workaround is able to be identified.
