Issue:

Cisco NX-OS devices with sysObjectID 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.12.3.1.3.1625 modeling using GnSNMPDev model type in Spectrum 10.1.x and below

Cause:

The Cisco NX-OS devices with sysObjectID 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.12.3.1.3.1625 is certified for support in Spectrum 10.02.00 and above with the CiscoNXOS model type.

Resolution:

The Cisco NX-OS devices with sysObjectID 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.12.3.1.3.1625 can be self certified in Spectrum 10.1.x and below by doing the following:

  1. Log into OneClick as an ADMIN user
  2. Select Tools-> Utilities -> Device Certification from the top level menu
  3. Filter for and select the 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.12.3.1.3.1625 entry in the list
  4. Click on the Edit icon
  5. Click on the Browse button next to the Model Type Name field and select CiscoNXOS from the list. Then click OK.
  6. Click on the Save icon

If you currently have any Cisco NX-OS devices with sysObjectID 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.12.3.1.3.1625 modeled using the GnSNMPDev model type, you will need to destroy these models and recreate so Spectrum models them using the CiscoNXOS model type.
