After a migration of the event processor to a physically different machine the chk_auto_up command shows the wrong hostname.

The current hostname of the Event Processor is stored within the event server. This information is stored in the event_demon row of the alamode table.

If the Event Processor was moved from physical machine A to physical machine B then the table should be manually updated. The following procedure can be used.

- Log into the event server as the autosys database user - Run the following SQL:

update alamode set str_val='<new ep hostname>' where type='event_demon'

- Exit the sql session

NOTE: The value for in the above SQL should be the actual hostname of the new machine upon which the event processor runs.
