Question:

I’m trying to use VMSECURE CHGMDISK to move some Linux minidisks to new dasd.

Here is the command I am trying to issue that results in error:

 vmdirect chgm lnxcovt1 200 lnxcomn volser zvpl02 loc 33227

VMXCHG0637E The minidisk size VOLSER must be an integer no longer than 10 digits

What is the proper syntax?

Answer:

Answer:

The parameters are positional.

vmdirect chgm lnxcovt1 200 lnxcomn volser zvpl02 loc 33227

should be changed to

vmdirect chgm lnxcovt1 200 lnxcomn = = zvpl02 33227
