Corrupt or bad oracle_monitor.cfg
The problem was the client had removed groups from the groups tab but they were still assigned to
This cause a problem with the retrieveing and saving of the file.
The problem is that you have groups assigned to profiles that no longer exist in the .cfg.
this is causing the save and update function to not work correctly.
Please do the following
1) stop the oracle probe
2) edit the oracle.cfg and set all group = keys to a blank space within the profile section.
so from :
group = FW_Non_Prod_Oracle
as an example
3) save the .cfg file
4) activate the oracle probe
5) then change the checkpoint to static and change the threshold as needed.
