QUESTION:

The log is updated by UTC time on the default environment as follows. Is it possible to change the time in log file to use the system time of OS?

2015-04-01 05:18:45,565 UTC [4676] FATAL CA.Applications.RegistrationService.Engine - CORA Update Processing Error: Unable to use CORA API.

ANSWER:

It is necessary to follow the below steps with all logging.config files and reboot OS. There is not the function to change the timestamp in the log files by one action. Need to respond all of logging.config if you expect.

1. Open the logging.config in the below directories.

?C:\Program Files (x86)\CA\ITAM directory

??2015-04-01 02:25 PM <DIR> Application Server
??2015-03-18 09:38 AM <DIR> Data Importer Engine
??2015-04-01 02:23 PM <DIR> Event Service
??2015-04-01 12:37 AM <DIR> Export Service
??2015-04-01 12:01 AM <DIR> Hardware Engine
??2015-03-17 12:45 PM <DIR> Import Driver
??2015-03-17 12:45 PM <DIR> Import Processor
??2015-03-17 12:44 PM <DIR> Import Service
??2015-04-01 03:54 PM <DIR> LDAP Import Sync Service
