Issue:
When attempting to validate a WAAE server configuration containing the Web Service URL, the validation fails with the following error...

CertificateException: No name matching XXXXX found

The WAAE server configuration will validate successfully if the Web Service URL is removed.

Environment:
WCC 11.4 SP6
WAAE 11.3.6 SP7
Cause:
This error occurs during the WAAE server validation when the hostname specified in the WAAE Web Server certificate does not match the hostname specified in the Web Service URL. By default, the WAAE Web Server uses a self signed certificate that is generated and installed during product installation. In most cases, this certificate is generated with the short hostname of the WAAE server. However, in some cases, the fully qualified domain name is used.
Resolution:
If using the full qualified hostname in the Web Server URL, change it to the short hostname.
If using the short hostname in the URL, change it to the fully qualified name.

If the above does not resolve the validation error, you will need to determine the hostname that is contained in the certificate and use it in the Web Server URL. The best way to determine this is to access the Web Server URL through a Web Browser. That will give you an opportunity to view the certificate and see the hostname that is in it.
