We upgraded from 10.5 to 10.7. CEM Response Time metrics seem to be higher since the upgrade.
There is no change on the application side or network side. Application Servers are monitored by APM 10.5 agents and there was no change. TIM was also upgraded to APM 10.7 on same machine. We exported and then imported back the business transaction definitions from APM 10.5 to APM 10.7 After this change we are observing that CEM Response Time metrics seem to be higher since the upgrade.
Doing additional testing we find that following resolved this issue. Business Applications did not had Session Identification defined. It was empty in APM 10.7. In APM 10.5 there was value for Session Identification. After adding the Session Identification values Cookie|JSESSIONID in APM 10.7, the CEM response time came in line with what the APM 10.5 was showing. As a test, removed the Session Identification values and the CEM response times went back to the higher values.
