CAUAJM_E_10029 returned by chk_auto_up

Issue:

Application server is up and running fine with no errors in as_server logs.

But when running "chk_auto_up" it returns the following error message:

CAUAJM_E_10029 Communication attempt with the CA WAAE Application Server has failed! [server-name:9000]       

CAUAJM_E_10221 Exhausted list of available Application Server(s). Failing request. CAUAJM_E_50033 Error initializing tx subsystem: CAUAJM_E_10062 Failed to get initial configuration from CA WAAE Application Server(s)
 

 

Environment:
WAAE 11.3.6 Release on Linux
Resolution:

Problem was related to the "localhost" configured with IP v6 in /etc/hosts file as in the following example:

::1 hostname.domain hostname localhost       ipv6-localhost ipv6-loopback 
 

Resolved by removing the word "localhost".

After the update of /etc/hosts file, chk_auto_up runs fine.
