Cannot see network traffic metrics from cdm probe on Suse linux platform

Last Modified Date : 13/02/2019

Issue:
Configured three network metrics in cdm probe
QOS_NETWORK_INBOUND_TRAFFIC
QOS_NETWORK_OUTBOUND_TRAFFIC
QOS_NETWORK_AGGREGATED_TRAFFIC

These QOS metrics do not show up in UMP performance Report.
Environment:
UIM 8.51
cdm 6.30
Suse linux 11.x
Resolution:
Configure the cdm probe to generate the SAR (System Activity Report) using the current values of the network inbound, outbound, and aggregate traffic monitors.

To collect network traffic information, install the SYSSTAT package and test the command sar -n DEV.

In this particular use case sysstat was started using this command "/etc/init.d/boot.sysstat start" and cdm probe restarted
The network traffic metrics are now send by cdm probe and seen in UMP portal
