We have a public IP address (22.214.171.124) routed into an internal IP address (10.0.0.100) allowing ports 80/443/153/8008/50000/48000-48255 and can’t get the robot installation to find the hub.
The installation was hanging on the request for the install package from the hub with the distrsrv.
We had to install the package locally to resolve this issue. In the IM archive folder we located the package for the version of Linux the customer had and we then moved it over to the customer's machine and put it in a tmp directory.
We reran the nimldr and when it asked whether this was a local installation we said yes and we then pointed it to the installation package directory where we had placed the zip file.
This allowed the robot installation to complete and the robot to then successfully connect to the hub.
