ISSUE:

When configuring a Maintenance Mode schedule that overlaps with a Maintenance Mode schedule already configured on a model, the previously configured Maintenance Mode schedule will take the model out of Maintenance Mode even though the other Maintenance Mode schedule is in effect.

For example:

There is already a previously defined Maintenance Mode schedule configured on a model that places the model into Maintenance Mode from 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM daily.

A user configures a one time 24 hour Maintenance Mode schedule that will place the model into Maintenance Mode for 24 hours starting at 12:00 AM on Tuesday morning.

At 12:00 AM Tuesday morning, the one time 24 hour Maintenance Mode schedule puts the model into Maintenance Mode.

At 6:00 AM Tuesday morning, the previously defined Maintenance Mode schedule configured on the model also takes effect but the model is already in Maintenance Mode from the one time 24 hour Maintenance Mode schedule.

At 7:00 AM Tuesday morning, the previously defined Maintenance Mode schedule configured on the model takes the model out of Maintenance Mode even though the one time 24 hour Maintenance Mode schedule is still in effect.

ROOT CAUSE:

Maintenance Mode schedules are implemented on start/stop boundaries. At the start time, the model is placed into Maintenance Mode and at the stop the model is take out of Maintenance Mode.
