PPM SAAS customers developing custom reports may experience server connection issues when Jaspersoft Studio is configured to go through a proxy. The settings are available however Studio is unable to make a connection to the server.
Studio makes connection to JasperSoft Server via HTTP/SOAP. So you essentially need to configure Studio the same way you have configured your browser to hit reporting server URL. As per Tibco, using the proxy setting was built on Eclipse platform and is a known issue. Tibco at this time does not have a specific time frame when it will be fixed. As a workaround, you can configure the client where there is no proxy or add firewall bypass rule and it will work.
