This info apar provides a detailed process for enabling CA RECLAIM functionality.

If your site is enabling CA RECLAIM for TPX VSAM databases, it is suggested that monitoring of these databases should be part of the long term procedure to make sure no corruption or error is introduced that may impact TPX functionality.

If there is evidence of data integrity errors within the TPX VSAM files after implementing CA RECLAIM, then they should be excluded from CA RECLAIM processing.

As of this writing, there have been no reported data integrity errors from TPX customers.
