Introduction:
Web services are self-describing modular applications that enable distributed computing over the Internet. Web services can provide anything from simple information requests to complicated business processes. Web services can be published, located, and invoked remotely across the Web.
Question:
Is it possible to use web services in order to access SharePoint Groups in a Microsoft SharePoint 2013 environment using the CA Identity Manager 14.2 Suite Virtual Appliance (vAPP)?

Answer:
PolicyXpress (PX) policies can be used to call Web Services via POST, a batch (.bat) file or a java class to call the web service with parameters provided by PX.
