Instructions on where to go to modify the rsipub.exe web menu templates.
Yes you can modify the web menu. Some basic HTML knowledge is necessary to modify the way the web menu looks.
When you type the URL:
in a browser, this pulls on the related tpl file located in the physical bin directory under the Report Server installation directory. (NOTE: these files are under the rsdocs directory in a Unix environment) There are several tpl files located in this directory:
Each of these tpl files corresponds to a different part of the web menu. If you type "command=list" in the URL, it uses the rslist.tpl file to build the web menu. We recommend you make a back up of these files before you attempt to edit them. If you open the rslist.tpl file in a text editor, you will see the html code. You can edit this code to change the title of the web menu, colors, images, etc. After editing the file, you must save the file as the same name (in this case rslist.tpl) and then refresh the browser to see the changes.
The other tpl files relate to the following areas:
rsdemand.tpl - On demand jobs only (command=ondemand)
rsproduction.tpl - Production jobs only (command=production or command=613)
rsmessage.tpl - Error message page
rsprompt.tpl - Report prompts page
rswait.tpl - Wait page after clicking on a job and before the report appears.
