The Batch Journaling Transparency also referred to as BJT uses an SVC which when installed using job $BJTINST program hooks the MVS OPEN SVC. Whenever a batch file is opened the CA Filesave RCS Automated Recovery utilizing the SYSTAB and APPTAB decide if a file should be journaled.
The SVC is only needed during the $BJTINST JOB step. The batch LOADLIB is needed in the batch job to load FSBCHJRN from and it does not need to be authorized in the batch step. The SVC is used at install time to load items into the MVS CSA and to hook the MVS OPEN SVC.
The actual batch job does not use the SVC and does not need an authorized library in its STEPLIB. If you install both SVCs you may want different SYSTAB and APPTAB suffixes just to keep things straight.
If you are installing a new release of CA Filesave RCS Automated Recovery and are running a prior release, or prior gen level you may run two copies concurrently as long as each version uses a different SVC number.
Please review Appendix C of the CA Filesave RCS Automated Recovery Installation Guide.
The SVC is only needed during the $BJTINST JOB step.
The suffix parameter of the svc install, is what controls which SVC to use.
