What does it mean when you see the message - CAL2C903E CA 7 RECEIVER NOT FOUND when trying to use the CCI terminal interface?

Answer:  

If receiving the following errors when trying to use the CCI terminal Interface to pass commands to CA 7:

CAL2C903E CA 7 RECEIVER NOT FOUND CA 7 XTM UC07 /N01

+CAL2C596E NON-ZERO RETURN FROM CA 7 CCI INTERFACE. RC=0008 CC=0004

+CAL2C509I CA 7 CCI BATCH PROCESS COMPLETE. RC=0008 CC=0002

Check the SVCNO statement from the Initialization File.  For example if using the following:

SVCNO,SASSVC=YES,ROUTER=YES,MONITOR=YES,XTMNAME=N01,RNAME=U7TE

and the relevant message from the CA 7 joblog:

CA 7.XTM0 - CTI RECEIVER IS: #A01CCI CA 7 XTM N01

Then:

  1. The CAICCI node name is A01CCI

  2. The XTMname is N01

  3. The PARM to be passed to CAL2X2WB should looks like to:

//JS10RV EXEC PGM=CAL2X2WB,PARM='A01CCI,N01'
