Introduction:

Using TPSERVER to communicate with other systems. TPCKPT file filled up due to one system being down for maintenance.

Question:

When using TPSERVER to communicate between multiple masters. How do you stop sending tracking data to one of the systems when it is going down for maintenance for a long period of time?

Answer:

1) Use the TPDISP command to display applications that are connected.

                            ESPPROD_D

2) You can use the TPAPPL command which manages interactions with remote partner applications. So to stop the interaction with ESP_MV04 you would need OPER authority and enter the following. 

OPER TPAPPL ESPPROD_B DELCONV

When you are ready to re-establish connection you would enter. 


OPER TPAPPL ESPPROD_B ADDCONV
