CA WA Restart Option ESP Edition (Encore) step returns condition code 141 with message "NOT AUTHORIZED. RACF WILL NOT ALLOW THIS DATA SET TO BE OPENED". This message is issued because Encore predicts a security violation on the specified data set name.
Encore can be configured to predict a certain type of errors such as security, data set not found, duplicate data set name, etc. This type of prediction is enabled or disabled using the Encore ENCPARM PREDICT command.
Encore predicts all error types by default.
CA WA ESP Edition r11.4
CA WA Restart Option EE r11.4
To disable security violation prediction, code ENCPARM PREDICT SECURITY(NO) in the CA WA ESP initialization parmlib, or in the related application/job definition.
CA recommends that this be done at the JOB definition level. If security violation prediction is turned off for all jobs, then code ENCPARM PREDICT SECURITY(NO) in the CA WA ESP initialization parmlib.
- The ENCPARM PREDICT command is documented in the following manuals:
CA WA ESP Edition Command Reference Guide
CA WA ESP Edition Installation and Configuration Guide
- The Encore condition codes are documented in the CA WA Restart Option ESP Edition User Guide.
