Question:

Is there a command to display the CPF activity between systems?

Answer:

  1. Enable STATG(ON) CPF statistics will start to be gathered.

    To view current STATG status issue TSS MODIFY STATUS(STATG), default is STATG(OFF)

    TSS MODIFY STATG(ON) will turn on.
  2. The output of the TSS MODI(STATS) command will contain the following messages if CPF is enabled:

    TSS1323I ------ CPF STATISTICS ----------------
    TSS1324I INBD CMDS PROCESSED (000000000)
    TSS1325I INBD PSWD PROCESSED (000000000)
    TSS1326I OUTB CMDS PROCESSED (000000001)
    TSS1327I OUTB PSWD PROCESSED (000000001)
    TSS1328I RETURNED OUTB REQUESTS (000000000)
    TSS1324I INBD CMDS PROCESSED (000000000)
    TSS1325I INBD PSWD PROCESSED (000000000)
    TSS1326I OUTB CMDS PROCESSED (000000000)
    TSS1327I OUTB PSWD PROCESSED (000000000)
