CA Spectrum's Infoview Alarm Report does not work and the message "No records found" is generated

This doc is specifically related to Alarm Reports only. If all other reports in Spectrum Report Manager work fine but alarm reports return the "No records found message" then please check the following solution.


This issue can happen if events 0x10701 and 0x10702 are not logged to the historical event database.

You can check if events 0x10701 (create alarm) and 0x10702 (clear alarm) are still recorded in the Spectrum OneClick Event Configuration Editor (ECE) -> "Event Options" -> "Store Event in Historical Database". Make sure this option is checked (selected).

If this events are not stored in the Archive Manager, they will not be synced to Report Manager and therefore no data is available on alarm handling in the Spectrum Report Manager. The 0x10701 and 0x10702 need to be logged in order for proper functionality of the Spectrum Report Manager.
