Issue:

When you have a project in CA PPM with dependencies and you export that info to Microsoft(R) Project, it only shows 'Finish-Finish' dependencies in the Predecessors column, all other dependencies disappear. This is happening in non-English language versions of MSP.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Use the New driver for the Microsoft Project integration and a non-English MSP
  2. In PPM, go to Home > Projects
  3. Create a new project with at least three tasks
  4. Setup a task dependency of 'Finish-Start' and then one task dependency relationship of 'Finish-Finish'

Expected result: MSP shows all dependencies in Predecessors column

Actual result: MSP only shows 'Finish-Finish' dependencies in Predecessors column

Environment:
This has been reported in 14.3, 14.4 and 15.1 (base versions, no patches).
Cause:

This has been reported to Sustaining Engineering as CLRT-80614.

Resolution:

This issue has been fixed in:

  • CA PPM 15.2
  • CA PPM 15.1 generic patch 4
  • CA PPM 14.4 generic patch 7

Note that re-installing the Microsoft Project integration is required after upgrading or installing these patches.
Also OS Language format should be in ESP, some customer reported the same problem in newer version with OS ENG language format.
