Issue:

CAPC upgrade fails with the following error:

 

/tmp/da-rib-docs.jar does not exist - RIB docs cannot be deployed (possible cause is not enough free disk space in /tmp).

 

Custom Action:            com.ca.im.installanywhere.action.DeployRIBCache

                          Status: ERROR

                          Additional Notes: ERROR -     class com.ca.im.installanywhere.action.DeployRIBCache NonfatalInstallException Error deploying RIB doc file: com.zerog.ia.api.pub.NonfatalInstallException: /tmp/da-rib-docs.jar does not exist - RIB docs cannot be deployed (possible cause is not enough free disk space in /tmp).

 

There are no other errors seen in the install logs

Resolution:

So long as this is the only error, it is not impactful.  We try to pre-populate the /tmp/ribcache to try and speedup the registration and initial startup of CAPC.  However, if not enough disk space in /tmp, ribcache will get populated during PC/DM startup from the data sources.
