CA Performance Center showing views not supported by current Data Sources

Environment:  

CA Performance Management all supported versions

Cause: 

View suppression is not enabled

Resolution:

To enable View Suppression

To hide data views that lack a registered data source, enable the 'Suppress Views' option on the Display Settings page. When the data source that populates a view is registered, that view is no longer hidden. Similar behavior applies to context tabs and custom menus. As long as a menu or tab has one view that is not suppressed, the custom menu or tab is still displayed.

View Suppression applies to views that are placed on dashboards by default. View Suppression does not hide views from administrators when they use the view categories to edit a dashboard.

The Suppress Views option is enabled by default. You can disable it for troubleshooting purposes, or to help you when deciding whether to deploy another data source. When View Suppression is turned on, the View Suppression indicator is shown. When you enable View Suppression, click the View Suppression indicator to access the Display Settings page. 

Follow these steps:

Log in to your user account. View Suppression is available to users with any role.

Select My Settings, Display Settings.

The Display Settings page opens.

Select Display All Views from the View Suppression drop-down list.

Click Save.

The View Suppression indicator disappears from the Infrastructure Overview page.
