Introduction:

If the system CAPC is on can authenticate via kerberos, then the system level krb5.conf file can be used when configuring LDAP

Environment:
CA Performance Center, all supported versions
Instructions:

The kinit command can be used to verify if the /etc/krb5.conf file on the underlying operating system
contains the correct information.

Example:

# kinit -V username
Using default cache: /tmp/krb5cc_0
Using principal: username@EXAMPLE.COM
Password for username@EXAMPLE.COM:
Authenticated to Kerberos v5

If this is successful the /etc/krb5.conf file can be used when configuring LDAP for use with GSSAPI/kerberos
