CA Identity Manager Password Sync Agent throwing "Invalid access to memory location" error after server reboot

We've installed Password Sync Agent for Windows Server 2012 R2 x64. After we performed reboot after install, when we tried to reset a password, Windows displays an error message complaining about: "Windows cannot complete the password change for xx, Invalid access to memory location". The error message disappears after we changed eta_pwdsync.conf to disable the password sync agent. When we reenable the agent, the error message did not come back. However, every time we reboot the server, the error message will come back on a password reset. on the PwdSync.log file we notice the following errors.

Upgraded PSYNC to the latest 14.1 CP4 (CP4 was mandatory). Once done it resolved the memory issue.
