CA Datacom upgrade from 11 to 15 -Am I AD or DB

Question:
 I am looking into what is needed to upgrade Datacom from R11 to R15. This environment is also running CA11 and based on doc turned over by the previous product support owner, Datacom is the database for CA11.
- First off, can you confirm for me if this environment is using Datacom/AD and/or Datacom/DB.

If the datacom component that is being used is Datacom/DB, I understand from the KB000014260 article, the upgrade path has to be 11 to 12 via a tape image of R12, and then 12 to 14. How would I go about getting this tape image?

You are clearly CA Datacom/AD 11.0 per the following messages you sent:

CA Datacom/AD is used as a "black box" with some "CA Using Products" like CA11, CA Sheduler, CA ENF, MSM/CSM....
CA Datacom/DB is the full DBMS product which can be used without restrictions.
The second message may you think you are DB but it is the way it was displayed at the time in AD 11.0. AD04 is the level of your CA Datacom/AD 11.0.

 
Yes, you may download CA Datacom/AD 15.0 via MSM/CSM. There is no problem with that. 
Then follow the steps indicated in the article i mentioned earlier.

AD 14.0 and 15.0 use the same XCF parameters. There is no change between these two releases regarding XCF.
