Issue:

When running a 64-bit process or application under Windows Server 2012, the CA Datacom Server ODBC 64-bit client may fail with an addressing exception.

Answer:

Presently, the Server 64-bit ODBC DLLs cannot handle a large virtual address space greater than 2 GB. Therefore, the ODBC applications that use the Server 64-bit DLLs must be linked with the linker option /LARGEADDRESSAWARE:NO.

The Datacom Server sustaining/development team is working to remove this limitation. Enhancement PTFs for CA Datacom Server Versions 14.0 and 15.0 will be published when available.
