CA Client Automation Scalability Server upgrade fails when the DSM Explorer is also installed on the Scalability Server with the error:
Error 1606.Could not access network location "C:\Program Files (x86)\CA\SC\EGC\".
All versions of CA Client Automation
The location "C:\Program Files (x86)\CA\SC\EGC\" refers to the DSM Explorer installation.
Make sure that the folder has Full Control permissions for Administrators/the user trying to run the uninstall.
If the permissions are correct. try uninstalling the DSM Explorer using Add/Remove programs.
If you encounter the same error, it is most likely the DSM Explorer installation is corrupt and may require manual deletion of the DSM Explorer binaries and registry key entries.
