Even after changing the host parameter to 127.0.0.1 or localhost in the dsi.conf file (discussed in technical document TEC510358), it is still possible to remain getting rc=13 during MSMTC startup on the DSI task.
There is a second location where the DSI host is specified and this is by default not defined, but during the install this can be set.
In the msm.SAMPLIB(DBINIT) member there is a section to specify the DSI settings:
# DSI Security Server
In the above sample the dsiHost parameter is commented, but it can be activated. To do so, please check the DBINIT member in your msm.SAMPLIB library and if specified incorrectly, change it.
In order to pick up any changes, please startup the MSMTC stc with the //DBUPDATE DD specified in place of the //DBINIT DD statement. This will update the CA Chorus Software Manager database. Remember to change the DDname back as it was for subsequent startup of the MSMTC task
