The APM-Spectrum Integration using the standard APM SNMP Alert Action produces following inconsistent Event details in Spectrum OneClick Console:
Following issues/symptoms are observed in CA APM - CA Spectrum Integration, when the standard CA APM SNMP Alert Action is used for alert generation & notification:
1. The WebView hyperlink in CA Spectrum OneClick Console - Event details tab is broken (the second part of the url is not included as hyperlink)
2. A null threshold is displayed as part of the alert message details occasionally in the CA Spectrum OneClick Console - Event details.
3. Incorrect alert message details on alert type (danger/caution) and target value.
For example, we have created an SNMP Action Alert with a Danger threshold of 40, and a Caution threshold of 30.
In this instance, the message details show a danger alert with target of 40 , while it should be a caution alert with a target of 30, because the violating metric value was 38 and it was the caution alert that was triggered.
4. When an alert closure is received and shown in the CA Spectrum OneClick Console - Event details, the alarm is not being closed.
For example, in the following instance, a closure has been issued on a caution (again the message shows Danger which is incorrect as per Problem 3) alert for Processor1 which happened on 11:02:45, but at the bottom the actual alert on 11:02:45 was still visible and not removed.
