We are installing API Portal 4.2.3 on Centos 7.4 which was provided by client, so it is not CA OVA provided.
First install stopped with not enough space in /opt/ca partition , so we increased space.
2nd attempt /var partition had not enough space
We cleaned the /var/lib/docker/overlay2/* folders to clean the space for reinstall.
However now when running portal.sh we get:
$ sudo ./portal.sh
Loaded image: apim-portal.packages.ca.com/apim-portal/analytics-server:4.2.3
Loaded image: apim-portal.packages.ca.com/apim-portal/authenticator:4.2.3
lstat /var/lib/docker/overlay2/60d6d29c02d2ed0a49014a1a62aab3de95d22a7f03229a2ecbc6e24a67a5d0b9: no such file or directory
Seems that portal.sh has history check somewhere telling that we already downloaded this modules and links them to destination folder which we deleted. We tried reboot also downloaded new version Portal as initial install was 4.2.0. However same issue, we cannot proceed with install.
most probable, there is dangling the docker images which are not removed.
Please remove the docker and its images ..
>> docker system prune
To additionally remove any stopped containers and all unused images (not just dangling images), add the -a flag to the command:
>> docker system prune -a
check the images :
>> docker images -a
remove all images :
>> docker rmi $(docker images -a -q)
remove all docker volumes:
>> docker volume rm
And then reinstall docker and then run, ./portal.sh
