R12.7Sp1 to R12.7.SP2 Upgrade
Run your Linux system where you're upgrading, the following:
===>>> strace -o strace.txt -f <command-to-upgrade>
(The other way is using:
...and run the upgrade command. If you are able to do this after strace, send this file as well.)
Pinpointed access privilege problem seen in the strace.txt output file.
Access Gateway writes instance information to /opt/etc/CA. From the strace output, it appears the user running the installation process doesn't have sufficient permissions:
41087 stat("/opt/etc/CA/SiteMinder_Secure_Proxy/InstanceCount.properties", 0x7fb17fde7a10) = -1 EACCES (Permission denied)
Please make sure the user running the installer has read/write permission to the /opt/etc/CA folder and all its contents and try again.
